"Breakfast with Burl"
I can remember growing up in and around Savannah, Georgia during the early days of my life. One of the radio stations in Savannah had a very popular personality by the name of Burl Womack. His early morning show went by the name, "Breakfast with Burl." He would have his coffee cup in hand and you could almost smell the aroma. Burl had the unique gift and incredible challenge of making "morning special."
I saw a t-shirt one day that had these words on it, "I'm allergic to mornings." During my early days, I could clearly understand the meaning of those words. Some (like me) might chose to get up very early in the morning. Others, enjoy the late night and they are most productive when the sun goes down. In either case, there is something beautiful and positive about life. We live and breath in a world created so wonderfully by our God.
Feel free to join me when you have a chance for "A Coffee Break." Take a moment in the day and enjoy the aroma of life. Celebrate the giver of life as we share it with others.
